Karen Cooper

My name is Karen, and I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse and Nurse Manager. I joined Grove Lodge 30 years ago in 1994. I have seen huge positive changes over the years as things have progressed with not only the clinical care but also within the profession. I now manage our fantastic team of Nurses, Students and Veterinary Care Assistant’s and although challenging, my job is made much easier by the care, dedication and high standards the team provide every day. I am so proud of all the team but the best part of my role is seeing them develop and grow, from VCA’s through to Students and then becoming Qualified Veterinary Nurses. Out of work I enjoy precious time spent with my husband and teenage son.
