I'm Becky and I've been a vet nurse for 22 years. I came to the lodge as a part time night nurse 15 years ago and after a few years of ECC work I switched back to working days as I missed working in a large busy team.
I am now one of the Lead Vet Nurses based at the hospital. My role is to perform all the necessary tasks of a vet nurse, as well as ensure the smooth running of the day. I also direct manage a small team of our nurses.
I have a passion for both anaesthesia and medicine and share my time between our wards and theatres.
I am also a qualified mental health first aider, a super keen gym goer, a proud mum to my 16-year-old son, and the owner of an epileptic Jack Russel terrier, a very sassy Chihuahua and a shy ginger cat.
