“Pursuing a career in veterinary dermatology has been very rewarding and I particularly enjoy treating allergy, otitis and autoimmune disease cases. I researched and published articles on canine ear disease during my residency training. Skin disease is often chronic and frustrating for pets and their owners and my aim is to improve the quality of life for all of my patients. I will aim to provide immediate treatment and long-term therapy plans for my patients that are manageable for clients at home”.
Carly is also a member of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology, European College of Veterinary Dermatology and a meetings organiser for the British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group.
When not working she is kept busy by two small children and husband and hopes to return to her hobbies of skiing and cooking as the children grow up.
